Riding the Waves – A breath of North Sea air
Following the huge successes of previous year’s Global Biofuel Tour, this year we choose to head West and discover the North Sea dunes on: Thursday, June 27th, 2019.
We listened to foreign clients willing to join but who had trouble travelling to Rotterdam on a Sunday evening. This year, we hope that everyone can join us on a Thursday and combine it with business travel to our beautiful city.
Global has planned a route starting from our office at the city centre of Rotterdam. From here we will head towards Hoek van Holland and head north to our beautiful dunes along the North Sea Coast where we will enjoy lunch at Kijkduin.
We will circle back into Rotterdam for informal food and drinks celebration in the late afternoon at the heart of the ARA region. Lunch and refreshments along the route have been arranged for.
The tour once again has been planned in cooperation with volunteers of Tourclub Rijnmond, celebrating their 40-year anniversary this year. Our loyal road captains will perform this job for the third consecutive year, so we are in good hands for a safe and fun day of cycling.
Global will donate €100,- per client starting in the Tour, to the Ronald McDonald Huis Sophia Rotterdam.

Following the huge success of last year’s Global Biofuel Tour in the Port of Rotterdam, this year we choose to explore the green Dutch landscape on Monday 29th May 2017 (USA Memorial Day)..
Global has planned a route starting once again at 9:30 sharp from our office at the city centre of Rotterdam. From here we will head South towards the green rural landscape scattered with farms, windmills and aquatic scenery.
Our end destination will be Willemstad where we will join for an informal food and drinks celebration in the late afternoon. Willemstad is a tiny beautiful well-conserved historical city founded in 1583.
Lunch along the route has been arranged for.
After dinner you can use a taxi bus to return to Rotterdam city centre to come back to your car or hotel. This bus will also be able to take back your bike.
The tour has been planned in cooperation with volunteers of Tourclub Rijnmond.
Members of the Tourclub volunteered once again to be our road captains, so we are in good hands for a safe and fun day of cycling.
